Toddler Classroom
18 months - 3 years
We believe that toddlerhood is a time for discovery, independence and language growth. Our Toddler Program (18 months to 3 years) is designed to provide a nurturing environment where young children can explore, express themselves, and build essential skills for lifelong learning.

Our toddler space is filled with age-appropriate materials that encourage sensory play, problem-solving, and creativity. Toddlers are free to explore at their own pace while developing confidence in their abilities.
We foster self-help skills such as washing hands, putting on shoes, tidying up, and potty training, helping toddlers develop confidence and autonomy in a safe, supportive space.

Through stories, music, and interactive activities, our teachers help expand each child’s vocabulary. Daily conversations, songs, and storytelling build communication skills and encourage self-expression.
Our caring teachers guide children in learning how to express emotions, take turns, and interact positively with peers, setting the foundation for healthy social relationships.

Active play is essential for toddler development. Our outdoor space provides opportunities for running, climbing, and exploring nature, promoting physical health and coordination.

Preschool Program
3-4 years old
At the Tamworth Preschool, our preschool program is designed to foster a love for learning, develop social skills, and encourage independence in a structured yet nurturing environment. Through engaging activities, hands-on exploration, and interactive play, we help children build confidence and prepare for preschool success.

At this age children are learning how to share, take turns, and collaborate with friends. Our teachers guide them through social interactions, helping them develop empathy, patience, and problem-solving skills in a supportive environment.

We introduce foundational preschool concepts in a fun and engaging way. Children explore early literacy, math, and science through hands-on activities, storytelling, and creative projects. Key skills include:

Pre-Kindergarten
3 years - kindergarten
At the Tamworth Preschool, our Pre-Kindergarten Program is designed to prepare children for a successful transition to kindergarten by nurturing their social-emotional development and strengthening cognitive skills. Through interactive learning, hands-on activities, and structured play, we help children build confidence, independence and a lifelong love for learning.

School Age Care Program
5 - 12years
The Before and After School Program at Tamworth Preschool, Inc., offers a safe, welcoming environment where children can relax, play, and recharge outside of school hours. We understand the balance between structure and freedom, so our program is built around both independent and group play, encouraging creativity, friendship, and personal choice.

Our space includes quiet corners, cozy seating, and calming activities such as board games, arts and crafts, reading, and puzzles. We also have open areas for building and group games, as well as a Lego bench and a kitchen area for pretend play. Kids can choose how they want to spend their time – whether that’s playing solo or joining a group project, or game. We support both independent thinkers and team players.

We are here when you need us – before school for a peaceful start to the day, and after school for a mix of fun and freedom. It is our goal to make each child feel supported, safe, and seen every day.

Children receive a nutritious breakfast before heading off to school and a hearty snack after school.
